David Sampedro is a Board Certified by the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy and a AV® Preeminent™ civil trial attorney whose practice primarily focuses on wrongful deaths, catastrophic injuries, automobile negligence, medical malpractice, premises liability, negligent security, pharmaceutical negligence, product liability, and nursing home neglect.  He was born in Bergenfield, New Jersey and has lived in South Florida virtually his whole life.  His parents emigrated from Cuba in 1969 during the Freedom Flights.  After initially attending Florida International University upon graduating from high school, he transferred to Florida State University where he graduated with a degree in political science in 1992.  David attended law school at Stetson University where he was a member of the law review and graduated cum laude in 1995.  David Sampedro has been repeatedly recognized as a Super Lawyer and by his peers as one of the Best of the Bar as published by The South Florida Business Journal; he is a member of the Million Dollar Advocate’s Forum; a Past President of the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Dade County Bar Association; and a perennial speaker and writer on an array of legal topics in his area of expertise.  He has also repeatedly been named to Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite, a select group compromising the top 2 percent of lawyers practicing in Florida.  He has also been honored as a Top Lawyer by the South Florida Legal Guide.  His ability to speak Spanish fluently is instrumental in directly explaining to Hispanic client’s the judicial process throughout the course of litigation.
